Choosing the right school for your child is a big decision, and we want to make sure you have all the information you need. Below you'll find answers to the questions we hear most often from prospective families. If you don't see what you're looking for, our admissions team is always happy to chat.

General Admissions

Crestwell School serves students from Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) through 8th grade. Our VPK program is for children who turn 4 by September 1st of the school year.

Our admissions process includes the following steps:

  • Submit an inquiry to connect with our admissions team
  • Schedule and attend a campus tour
  • Complete and submit your application with required documents
  • For select applicants, a student assessment and shadow day visit may be scheduled as part of the review process
  • Admission decision from our committee
  • Complete enrollment paperwork

Yes, there is a $200 non-refundable application fee required to process your application. This fee covers the cost of reviewing application materials and coordinating the student assessment.

Yes, a campus tour is a required part of our admissions process. You'll have the opportunity to see our classrooms, meet teachers, and observe students engaged in learning. Schedule a tour to get started.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Annual tuition for the 2026-27 school year is:

  • VPK (Pre-K): $11,475
  • Grades K-5: $11,475
  • Grades 6-8: $11,850

Yes! Crestwell School is a proud participating school in Florida's scholarship programs administered by Step Up For Students. We accept both:

  • FES-EO, FTC (Educational Options) (K-8): For income-eligible families
  • FES-UA (Unique Abilities) (PreK-8): For students with qualifying diagnoses

Eligibility requirements and scholarship amounts are determined by Step Up For Students. Visit stepupforstudents.org to learn more and apply.

We offer two payment options:

  • One-Time Payment: Pay in full by April 1 and receive a $400 discount
  • 10-Month Payment Plan: Monthly payments beginning May 1, managed through FACTS Management Company

Yes, we offer a $250 sibling discount for each additional child enrolled from the same family.

Academics & Programs

Yes. Crestwell School is accredited by MSA-CESS (Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools), Cognia, NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditation), and is a member of AISFL (Association of Independent Schools of Florida). These accreditations ensure our curriculum, teaching standards, and school operations meet rigorous national benchmarks.

Yes. Crestwell's STEM program integrates science, technology, engineering, and math across all grade levels, from PreK through 8th grade. Students work in our dedicated STEM lab with robotics, coding, 3D printing, and engineering design challenges. Our middle school Science Olympiad team competes at the regional level.

Crestwell School teaches The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Students, adapted from Stephen Covey's leadership framework. This program is woven into daily school life, building habits like responsibility, empathy, goal-setting, and teamwork from PreK through 8th grade.

Crestwell Gators Athletics offers 11 sports programs for grades 1-8: flag football, volleyball, cross country, boys basketball, girls basketball, boys soccer, girls soccer, junior basketball, junior soccer, and developmental programs (Bitty Basketball and Bitty Soccer). 78% of Crestwell graduates go on to play high school sports.

100% of Crestwell School 8th graders are accepted into their first or second choice high school. Graduates consistently place in the top 25% nationally on standardized tests and are well-prepared for advanced academic programs.

Yes. The school opens at 7:30 AM for morning drop-off. Extended care (afterschool) is available until 6:00 PM for an additional fee. We also offer afterschool enrichment programs including sports, arts, and academic activities.

No. Crestwell School is an independent, non-religious private school. We teach character education and values through The 7 Habits program, which is secular and focuses on leadership, responsibility, and personal growth. It is not affiliated with any religious denomination.

School Life

School hours vary by grade level:

  • Lower Elementary (VPK, K, 1st): 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM
  • Grades 2-5: 8:15 AM – 3:05 PM
  • Middle School (6-8): 7:55 AM – 3:25 PM

The school opens at 7:30 AM for morning drop-off. Extended care is available until 6:00 PM after school for an additional fee.

Yes, Crestwell School has a uniform policy. Students wear school-approved polo shirts in designated colors with khaki or navy bottoms. Uniforms can be purchased through our approved vendor. Details are provided to families upon enrollment.

Crestwell offers a variety of extracurricular activities including:

  • Athletics (basketball, soccer, volleyball, and more)
  • Visual and performing arts programs
  • Student clubs and leadership opportunities
  • Afterschool enrichment programs

We believe in developing the whole child through diverse experiences beyond the classroom.

Crestwell offers an optional hot lunch program with à la carte ordering. Families can also choose to send lunch from home. Information about the lunch program, including menus and ordering, is provided at the beginning of each school year.
